Serious Cases

I am working in a hospital as a nurse and I was assigned in the emergency department. Most of the time there are serious cases of accidents and a patient need to have a neck brace. I am already used with the different kinds of incidents and treatment. I am familiar with spondylosis. It is the term referring to degenerative osteoarthritis of the joints between the centra of the spinal vertebrae and or neural foraminae. In this condition the interfacetal joints are not involved. In severe cases it may cause pressure on the nerve roots with subsequent sensory and motor disturbances such as pain, paresthesia or muscle weakness in the limbs. Another case that I have been able to encounter is about radiculopathy. It is not a specific condition but rather a description of a problem in which one or more nerves are affected and do not work properly. The emphasis is on the nerve root. This can result in pain, weakness, numbness, or difficulty controlling specific muscles. In a radiculopathy the problem is at or neat the root of the nerve, along the spine. It is very important that we have to maintain a good discipline with our physical health. Any untoward incidents and disease will be avoided if we are particular with our wellness.
